Born and raised in Arkansas...Little Rock is my current home.
Photography has been my passion for the past 15 years. Most of that time has been spent pursuing the beauty of the "Natural State" with my camera and lenses. There is nothing better than going out for a hike or drive on a cool fall or spring day in search of the ultimate photo. I have spent many days doing this and it will always be my photographic oasis.
Recently though, I've come to enjoy a new pursuit in photography...People.
Earlier this year (2009), I was asked to speak about wildlife photography at the Midwest Photography Symposium, and while there I discovered that I really enjoy taking pictures of people. I attended some other photographers' sessions about fashion and portrait photography, and I realized that this is something I want to do with my photography. Since then, I've changed the focus of my photography business. I will never give up the nature photography that I love but my new passion in photography has taken hold and I am anxious to see where it takes me.
